The External Chopper Adjuster is a simple, field-tested upgrade for sugarcane harvesters using MaxiChopTM or standard chopper systems.

Available for John Deere and Case IH platforms, it allows precise, external adjustment of chopper angle without disassembly or pre-timing. With only a few minutes to required adjust the Blades, it can be done with ease many times in one day. This ensures your billet quality is at its best all day with minimal noticeable billet deterioration.

Designed for in-field ease, the adjuster features a dual seal, flush mounting, and a vernier scale for fine-tuned control — all with minimal setup and effortless operation.

Easy Calibration – Vernier scale allows accurate, fine adjustment without the requirements for testing run through. Simply adjust one increment and jump back in the seat.
Stronger Drive Interface – Tapered cone drive provides superior torque transfer with the right amount of slippage in the event of a rock or steel entering the choppers.
Self or Dealership Installation – Designs for all models of standard Case and John Deere Cane Harvesters. Clear instruction manuals for DIY Installations.
Proven Results – Dealerships are now fitting these on new machines to enhance the operator comfort and consistent billet quality.
John deere “bottom drum” – The EHS adjuster on a JD is fitted to the Bottom Chopper drum so the trailing blade slips away from the leading blade. In the event of a rock or steel entering the choppers the timing slips apart to avoid a knife cross.
